Information website on Financing Post-Secondary Education

The Manitoba Institute for Policy Research (MIPR) at the University of Manitoba is pleased to introduce a new online resource for students:

Financing Post-Secondary Education.  The website provides information regarding the essentials of financing post-secondary education for potential students, current students, and the family members of students.  It is intended to address information gaps among students and parents about the costs and benefits of education, financial aid, and other related topics.

The website was created by MIPR, which is situated in the Department of Political Studies in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba, to follow up on research done that shows students and potential students want more information about financing post-secondary education.  While developed at the U of M the site is designed to reflect the concerns of students in Manitoba and across Canada.

You can access the website at www.financingpse.ca.  If you would like additional informational and promotional materials such as posters and handbills to distribute to your students, feel free to contact us at financingpse@mipr.ca. Any feedback that you have on the website can be directed to the same email address.
